The Numbers From ABCD’s Record-Breaking 2025

ABCD began 2025 with ambitious goals, knowing demand for emotional support was rising and we were ready to meet it. Thanks to our dedicated staff, Mentors, partners, donors, and supporters, 2025 was the most impactful year in ABCD’s history.

While one year’s numbers don’t always show the full picture, comparing 2025 to 2024, which itself was a record-setting year, helps illustrate how significant this growth was.

In 2025, we served more people than ever before, trained more new Mentors than any year prior, and saw our Mentor community surpass a major milestone. ABCD now has 300+ trained volunteer Mentors, each one generously sharing their time and lived experience so no one has to face breast cancer alone.

None of this would be possible without an emphasis on collaboration. We’re so grateful to our many partners across the country, including over 100 healthcare and cancer support organizations who refer people to ABCD.

These numbers tell a story of remarkable growth, but they don’t capture the quiet moments that define ABCD’s one-to-one connections: the sigh of relief when someone hears, “I’ve been there,” the strength that comes from being understood without explanation, and the dignity of feeling seen and heard during uncertain times.

Because of the generosity of thousands of donors, ABCD is well positioned to carry this momentum into 2026. In the year ahead, we’ll continue to expand access to our free, high-quality emotional support and meet rising demand with compassion and care.
