Two Unique Opportunities to Support ABCD
As we move into our 23rd year of service, demand for ABCD’s FREE emotional support services is 41% higher than ever before. Breast cancer patients, survivors, thrivers and caregivers of all races, ethnicities and ages are contacting us from across the United States and beyond, seeking hope, compassion and understanding from ABCD Mentors. As a non-profit organization, we rely 100% on philanthropic support to provide our customized services and are always looking for new ways to diversify our funding base while providing opportunities for our community to engage with our organization. Join us this year in sponsoring one or both of the following events.
A Night OUT with ABCD is an in-person, ticketed event in our hometown community on Thursday, May 12th at the Saint Kate Arts Hotel in downtown Milwaukee from 5:30-7:30 pm CT. Join us for signature cocktails, delicious appetizers, and sweet treats as we celebrate ABCD’s impact in Wisconsin and beyond. We will also recognize Kesslers Diamonds as this year’s Power of One-to-One awardee for their outstanding partnership with ABCD, helping us raise awareness about and funds for our services for more than 15 years. This event will include a paddle raise and live auction of unique experiences, with all funds being used to help us help more people impacted by breast cancer. We anticipate about 150-200 donors, friends, and community and business leaders from Greater Milwaukee to join us for this special evening.
A Night IN with ABCD is a one-of-a-kind, virtual event featuring singer, actress, and breast cancer survivor Krysta Rodriguez on Monday, September 12th from 7:00-8:00 pm CT. At this uplifting event, Krysta will be performing live from the extraordinary Feinstein’s/54 Below in New York City, singing a variety of songs and sharing personal stories about her breast cancer experience. Event sponsors will not only help ABCD continue providing FREE emotional support to all breast cancer patients and caregivers, but will also allow us to present this special event for FREE to people who have used our services, ABCD Mentors, healthcare providers, and anyone who supports our mission. Similar to a live performance, it is only available to be seen in real-time by accessing a special link that will be sent to all registrants. We anticipate 1500-2000 people from around the country and beyond to join us virtually for this exclusive event.
