Mentor Toolkit for Breast Cancer Awareness Month - After Breast Cancer Diagnosis

Mentor Toolkit for Breast Cancer Awareness Month

You – our Mentors – are the heart of everything we do! During Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we’re offering the opportunity to help create awareness on social media of ABCD’s emotional support services. It’s a way to tell your story while helping us spread the word about the power of ABCD’s customized one-to-one match between someone who needs support and a Mentor who has a similar lived experience. Participating in this is entirely optional since everyone’s comfort level will be different.

If you’d like to participate, you will use the provided prompts and graphics below to do one post per week for the rest of October using the social media channel(s) of your choice – Facebook, Instagram, and/or LinkedIn. That’s all there is to it! We also have a special ABCD “Proud Mentor” graphic you can use as your profile photo.

ABCD “Proud Mentor” Profile Photo

Show your pride in being an ABCD Mentor by using our special image as your profile photo during October! We have two versions that have been sized specifically for Facebook and Instagram:

Click the link to the graphic to open it and then save it to your device. Here are instructions for how to change your profile photo on Facebook and on Instagram.

Content Prompts & Graphics

Customize the prompts with your personal experience where indicated. Each prompt includes a link to the graphic that should be paired with it for the post. After you click the link to the graphic and open it, you can save it to your device. Once you have the appropriate prompt and image ready, you can do your post.

Please remember to tag ABCD’s Facebook, Instagram, and/or LinkedIn accounts in your posts!
