ABCD is excited to partner with Melissa Berry, founder of Cancer Fashionista, on a special three-part Intimacy After Breast Cancer LEAP webinar series. The series is FREE and open to everyone.
This first session is about reconnecting with yourself after a breast cancer diagnosis. Melissa shares her personal experiences with reconstruction, scars, and body changes, offering honest reflections on the emotional challenges that come with these changes. This interactive conversation is guided by what attendees need. Participants are invited to ask questions, share experiences, and explore strategies for rebuilding confidence and learning to connect with and love their bodies again. Together, we’ll talk about how self-acceptance is an important step before feeling comfortable with intimacy. Melissa will share practical ways she began to feel like herself again, including mindset shifts and self-care practices that helped her reconnect with her body and feel beautiful again.

Melissa Berry is a 13-year triple negative breast cancer survivor and women’s health advocate. She is the founder of Cancer Fashionista, a platform supporting women through breast cancer, life beyond treatment, and survivorship, with a focus on confidence, self-image, and identity. She is also the host of the podcast Dear Cancer, I’m Beautiful, where she has real conversations about intimacy, confidence, and navigating life beyond diagnosis.
