About This Webinar
As 10% of cancers are inherited, Jenny Geurts, MS, CGC, from the Medical College of Wisconsin will explain why knowing your family history and genetic testing can inform your risk, including how it may improve health through risk reduction, early detection, and precision cancer treatment. You’ll also gain insight into genetic counseling, which is the process of helping people understand and adapt to the medical, psychological, and familial implications of inherited conditions. This process may also include genetic testing if the patient chooses to do so.
