Join us for the first LEAP Speaker Series of 2025! Led by Natalie McAndrew, PhD, RN, ACNS-BC, CCRN-K, an Associate Professor at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee School of Nursing, this one-hour webinar will cover:
- How to be supportive of each person’s needs and honor choices and preferences
- Strategies for maintaining strong relationships
- How to promote open, empathetic communication
- Care for the caregiver: tips and resources for managing stress, seeking support, and balancing caregiving with other responsibilities
About Our LEAP Speaker: Natalie McAndrew, PhD, RN, ACNS-BC, CCRN-K is Associate Professor at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee School of Nursing. She is also Joint Professor of Nursing Research and Nurse Scientist at Froedtert Hospital. The focus of Dr. McAndrew’s program of research is developing, testing, and translating palliative-based interventions for family caregivers of patients experiencing serious illness. She promotes the delivery of holistic, high-quality, family-inclusive health care.
